Like most professional sports franchises, the St. Louis Blues are trying to find more ways to engage with fans and improve the experience. Every fan that comes to the game has a phone in their pocket, so our proposal was to take advantage of this “second screen” and allow fans to participate in an interactive Zamboni racing game during TV timeouts. By simply scanning a QR code, fans were assigned to teams and could then use their phone to control their team’s Zamboni and race against other fans.
